Privacy Policy

1. Our approach

Manifest Galaxy is an iOS sci-fi dungeon crawler from Transoceanic Software LLC in Illinois, United States. We do not use advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do process the information needed to save your game and operate online features. “No tracking” does not mean that your saved game never reaches our servers.

2. Your saved game

Your device stores your characters and progress. When server sync is enabled, our service also stores your character identifier, character name, class, appearance, level, equipment, inventory, credits, fuel, and other saved game state so you can recover and continue your progress. Use a fictional character name rather than your real name.

Online rooms process room codes, player identifiers, and gameplay state to connect players and keep the session running. Players in the same room may see your character name, appearance, and in-game actions.

3. Sign in with Apple

Sign in with Apple is planned for account access and associating saved progress with your account. Current development builds may use a development credential instead. Where Apple sign-in is available, Apple handles authentication; we do not receive your Apple Account password or biometric information. We process the app-specific identifier and authentication information necessary to recognize your account and protect access to your saves.

If the sign-in flow requests a name or email address, Apple shows what will be shared, and you can choose Hide My Email where available. We use information you share only for account access, service operation, or responding to you, not marketing. See Apple’s explanation of Sign in with Apple.

4. What we do not collect or do

Manifest Galaxy does not include advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or browsing history. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We do not build advertising profiles from your gameplay.

5. Hosting and diagnostics

Our online service runs on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects. Cloudflare processes saved game data and connection information on our behalf to provide storage, networking, and security. Network requests necessarily involve technical information such as IP addresses; hosting services may process operational logs to maintain and protect the service. We do not use that information for advertising.

The app uses Apple’s on-device diagnostic logging. Apple may also make crash reports available according to your device’s diagnostics-sharing settings. If you contact support, we receive the message and any information you choose to include.

6. Retention, deletion, and your choices

We keep server-side saves while they are needed to provide your saved progress, unless you request deletion. We keep support correspondence and operational records only as needed to respond, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. Backup copies may persist until replaced through normal backup cycles.

You can delete local characters in the app. Deleting a local character or uninstalling the app does not necessarily delete its server copy. To request deletion of server saves or account data, or to request access to or correction of your information, email dev@xoceanic.com. We may ask for information needed to verify that the records belong to you. Do not send your Apple password. We respond in accordance with applicable law.

7. Ages 13 and older

Manifest Galaxy is intended for people ages 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. You must also meet any higher minimum age required in your country or region. Apple’s eligibility rules for Sign in with Apple may vary by region.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact dev@xoceanic.com so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

8. Security and disclosures

We use HTTPS for connections to our hosted service and restrict access to stored data. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users and the security of the service.

We will update this page and its date when our practices change, and provide additional notice of material changes where required.
